According to a report by Newsen based on the words of a rep, EXID's Solji finally got some of the profit from the girls' latest promotions and did as she promised: gave it all back to her parents!
For the first time in the 10 years she has been active as a singer, she was able to receive a personal profit after the balance was calculated by the agency. Afterwards, she bought and presented gifts to her parents to show her happiness and gratitude while shedding tears.
Solji first debuted back in 2006 as part of 2NB, but the group disbanded due to lack of interest from the public. She then was active doing vocal work, such as giving lessons, before joining EXID.
A rep stated recently, "As soon as Solji received her first profit, she bought presents for her parents. As she was buying the parents, her eyes filled with tears and she ultimately cried."
