He said, "If you look at when we debuted, I was the one that stood in the middle. I danced well and sang a lot so I stood in the center." Then one cast member asked why he was later stuck in the back.
Sunggyu said, "Our CEO monitored us. After monitoring us, he called me over and said, 'I want you to go to the side,'" making everyone laugh in the show. Sunggyu continued, "I couldn't say I didn't want to. Generally, the main vocalist usually stays in the center, though."
He then pointed out that as he grew fairly popular, the CEO later felt sorry about what he said before. Sunggyu was then asked who replaced him in the center. The answer, to probably no one's surprise, was the super handsome L.
'Happy Together 3' then showed two comparison performances. In the first one, Sunggyu is in the middle while L is off to the side. However, in the next one, L has replaced him in the middle while Sunggyu is standing on the side.
Regardless, the CEO seems to have made it up to Sunggyu as the leader got his chance to shine during solo performances later on!
