Amy's alleged prosecutor boyfriend under suspicion for threatening her plastic surgeon

Amy, who made headlines with her propofol controversy a while back, became involved in another controversy upon the revelation that a prosecutor, Mr. Jeon, who was also later revealed to have been her boyfriend, previously threatened her plastic surgeon Director Choi to cover the costs of redoing her plastic surgery treatment.

According to the prosecution, Prosecutor Jeon was suspected of putting pressure on her plastic surgeon. Amy previously contacted the prosecutor saying, "I received surgery from a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam and I am in pain from the side effects." In response, the prosecutor used his status to threaten the plastic surgery director who ended up offering Amy a free re-surgery and 15,000,000 KRW (~$14,000 USD) for her treatment fees. lt was also revealed that the prosecutor lent her 100 million KRW (~$94,00 USD) upon her request.

The prosecutor revealed his reason for lending Amy the money, stating, "Her circumstances looked pitiful."

His attorney stated, "It is true he sent a text asking the director to treat Amy . . . However, he did it out of good intentions rather than to receive something in return . . . You can look at it as Prosecutor Jeon and Amy were dating at the time. They went to Director Choi because every hospital they went to for a re-operation turned them down; Director Choi did not receive treatment pay and gave a refund because it was a side effect of surgery that he did."

However, after this statement, Amy's side stated that she had just received legal counsel from the prosecutor and that they were not involved romantically. The attorney of the prosecutor also stated that he could not reveal the current relationship status of the two, leaving the matter in confusion.
