Sunmi has always been known for her slim figure since her Wonder Girls days, so she surprised fans by revealing she tried gaining a few pounds for her solo debut with "24 Hours".

During a recent interview, Sunmi revealed, "While I was promoting as a member of the Wonder Girls, I once weighed below 40 kg (~88 lbs.). I normally went back and forth in the 41 kg (~90 lbs.) range, but to carry out my sexy concept and performance, I gained enough weight to be 47 kg (~103 lbs.)."
She also went on to say something that most people would be envious of. She explained, "When I was at my heaviest, I was 52 kg (~114 lbs).This may sound absurd but while I was promoting when I was young, I was so skinny that people would tell me to gain weight sometimes."
