SM trainee Seulgi receives attention after Kyuhyun's video message to her on 'Radio Star'

Thanks to the latest airing of 'Radio Star', an SM Entertainment trainee has been receiving quite a bit of attention.

While the show was on the subject of picking out pretty girl group members, Kyuhyun mentioned Girls' Generation's YoonA and miss A's Suzy. When everyone on set tried to create imaginary love lines between him and Suzy, Kyuhyun said in response, "I don't really like people who are that famous. I think appearance wise, they are pretty, but it's not that I like them like that... I feel really burdened if the girl is really famous and a big star." This led his fellow MC Kim Gu Ra to say, "I bet he likes trainees." The whole set then started to laugh at the thought that Kyuhyun likes trainees until they debut and become famous.

Although Kyuhyun kept saying no, when Sulli and Krystal mentioned the name 'Seulgi', one of SM's trainees, Kyuhyun started nodding as he said, "Oh yeah, Seulgi, she's alright." The whole set then started to tie Kyuhyun and Seulgi together, with Krystal even jabbing, "Oh so you like Seulgi". Sulli then said, "Seulgi's nice, sings well, and is cute."

Much to Kyuhyun's embarrassment, Sulli then suggested he send out a video message. So with all the MCs and guests giving Sulli's idea their full support, Kyuhyun had no choice but to awkwardly speak to the camera to deliver a message to Seulgi.

He said, "Seulgi, I hope you're practicing well. I hope you'll debut and become successful." Although he seemed to want to end it at that, Kim Gu Ra told him, "You should add one more line - 'Oh, and don't become too famous,'" cracking up the entire set.

After this episode, Seulgi's name rose up among search term rankings with her photos becoming an issue.

If rumors are to be believed, Seulgi ('94) is said to be nicknamed 'The 2nd Taeyeon' as she possesses great vocal abilities.

In response to the attention, a rep commented, "Seulgi is still a trainee practicing so she seems to be surprised by this attention... So far it hasn't been decided when or how she'll debut so just please keep watch over her for now."
