Fans of SBS's popular audition program, 'K-Pop Star', is in for a treat, as the show has just confirmed a second season!
On March 30th, producers of SBS officially confirmed that a second season will be going into production, stating, "Just like the first season, members from all three of SM, YG, and JYP Entertainment will be participating. We will be maintaining our panel of judges with BoA, Yang Hyun Suk, and J.Y. Park."
The official continued, "The three judges are determined to ride on the success of season one and create an upgraded version of it next season. We will be keeping the positive points and just create a modern, upgraded version to become the best. As it is a system where the nation's top three agencies handle the preparations up to the debut, a lot of potential stars will be swarming in for a second chance once again."
Applications will open mid-May, and the second season will broadcast in November.
