T-ara, are they really rookies?

Six member girl group T-ara has been showing lots of popularity over in Korea, so much in fact that people are surprised that they're only rookies. The main reason that people are saying this is because of their debut music video 'Lies' which was released on the 29th of July. By 11:00 AM on August 12th (Korean time), their music video on GomTV had already achieved 1,047,500 hits. GomTV stated "This is the first time since GomTV started streaming music videos that a rookie group has achieved over 1,000,000 hits in 2 weeks. It is proof of T-ara's popularity." Although the girls have yet to become a household name, it seems like they're carving a spot out for themselves in this war among girl groups.
