Kim Min Ji Joins Boys Before Flowers

Spoilers ahead! Newbie actress Kim Min Ji will be the last to catch the KBS2TV Boys Before Flowers bus before its finale next Tuesday. Kim Min Ji will be playing the role of Jung Yoo Mi who uses the excuse of helping Goo Joon Pyo to regain his memory to get close to him as her motive. And thus she will become the final obstacle that Joon Pyo and Jandi will have to face in their relationship. The original character's name is Nakashima Umi from the manga. According to a production staff for Boys Before Flowers, "In the audition for the role of Jung Yoo Mi, Kim Min Ji's performance stood out the most and we felt that she was the most appropriate person for it." Kim Min Ji completed her first filming scene yesterday and will make her appearance next Monday, episode 24 on 30th March. Kim Min Ji last appeared in KBS2TV Empress Chun Chu playing the role of young Lady Kim (later Empress Moon Hwa) and was labeled by the media as a Shin Ae lookalike.
