One couple's inspiring story of weight loss may just get you up and out of your seat to visit the gym and shed those extra pounds!
On a Facebook page titled 'Dieting is the Best Plastic Surgery,' the tale of how the Song Jin Yoo and Shin Ji Hoo couple lost an impressive amount of weight in just four months was revealed. The secret? Through regular exercise and drastically reducing the amount of calorie intake.
The couple devised their very own workout plan, consisting of weight-lifting for one and a half hours twice a week, and three hours of daily aerobics. Aside from chicken breasts, eggs, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and other bits of fruits and vegetables, the couple didn't dare lay their hands on any other foods.
The guy's daily diet included 150g of chicken breasts, 120g of sweet potatoes, 5 pieces of almonds, cherry tomatoes, cabbage and a little bit of onions, consumed every three to four hours. As for the girl, she ate 3-4 egg whites, 50g of potatoes, and bits of vegetables and fruits five times daily, every fours hours or so.
Before the diet, the man weighed 83kg (~183 lb.) and his body fat percentage was 16%. The woman weighed 71kg (~157 lb.) and her body fat percentage was 32%. After their strict diet and exercise routines, the man was able to drop 12kg (26 lb.) and cut his fat to 5%; the woman shed a whopping 22kg (49 lb.) and reduced her body fat from 32% to 18%.
Pretty amazing, huh? This couple story is proof that hard work and dedication can achieve almost anything!
