BTS V will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Dodgers game.
On August 17 PST, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced that V will take the mound for the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium on August 25, in a game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Fans quickly reacted to the news, with some commenting that the official LA Dodgers website "crashed shortly after" as people rushed to buy tickets for the game.
Another fan warned, "Those of you hardcore Dodger fans that aren't BTS fans, you need to secure your tickets NOW. Like... seriously. Now," highlighting the challenge baseball fans may face due to V's influence and massive fanbase.
Alongside a photo of V, the Dodgers captioned: "ARMY, you ready? V will be at Dodger Stadium on 8/25 to throw out the ceremonial first pitch!"
