
i-dle took the stage at a summer festival ahead of their upcoming Japanese promotions.
The group performed at ‘SUMMER SONIC 2025’ held on August 16 and 17 at Zozo Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka, creating unforgettable moments with the audience.

During the opening the members shared, “We were really looking forward to our first SUMMER SONIC stage. We’re so happy that i-dle can be here. This time, we’ll go with songs that are perfect for summer,” heating up the crowd like the rising midday sun.
The group then brought the festival to full swing with their signature summer tracks “DUMDi DUMDi” and “Klaxon,” as well as a string of hits including “Good Thing,” “Wife,” “MY BAG,” “TOMBOY,” and “Queencard,”.
They also raised anticipation by hinting at their official Japanese activities. Before the final stage, Miyeon announced, “We have some good news. I-dle will be releasing a Japanese album in October,” while Shuhua added, “We’re also preparing for a Japanese tour. After seeing today’s stage, aren’t you curious? Let’s definitely meet again.”
For their closing number, i-dle unveiled the Japanese version of “Fate,” one of last year’s biggest sleeper hits. The track will be included on their upcoming Japanese EP, and the group drew attention by giving fans a surprise live preview at SUMMER SONIC ahead of its official release.
Meanwhile, i-dle will release their Japanese EP ‘i-dle’ on October 3. Beginning with a show at Saitama Super Arena on October 4, the group will continue their Japan tour with concerts on October 18–19 at Glion Arena Kobe. They will also hold fan sign events and other promotions in Tokyo and Osaka to meet with local fans.
