Cha Eun Woo is returning to a TV near you with the new drama 'A Good Day to Be a Dog.'
On the 11th, the MBC FM4U radio show 'Two O'Clock Date with JaeJae' featured the main cast of MBC's new drama 'A Good Day to Be a Dog' as guests. The main cast includes Park Gyu Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Lee Hyun Woo.
During the broadcast, a listener asked them about their on-screen chemistry with the real dog featured in the drama. In response, Park Gyu Young, who plays a character that transforms into a dog, said, "Since, in the scenario, My character turns into a dog, when it comes to talking about chemistry, I think Eunwoo will have a lot to say."
Cha Eun Woo, who had been quietly listening, then surprised everyone by revealing, "I actually had to film a genuine kissing scene with a dog." He admitted that working with the dog had been a bit daunting, "The puppy was adorable, but it just wouldn't focus. It wouldn't even kiss me. To initiate the kissing scene, I had to apply 'Churu' - a pet snack - on my mouth to coax it to kiss (lick my lips)."
Churu is a snack for pets, and a variety of its products are sold on the market.
Amusingly, Cha Eun Woo confessed that he unknowingly ended up sampling the pet snack for the first time during filming, leading to laughter when he quipped, "I felt like I'd suddenly morphed into a puppy."
MBC's new drama 'A Good Day to Be a Dog,' starring Cha Eun Woo, is based on the famous Naver webtoon of the same title (written by Lee Hye). It centers around a woman cursed to transform into a dog whenever she kisses and a man with an irrational fear of dogs who paradoxically holds the only known solution to break the spell.
Wow, we finally found someone who doesn't want to kiss Cha Eunwoo
