Kim Jong Kook appeared as a guest on MBC's Fantastic Pair Love's Classroom where he talked about his real personality and his ideal type. He revealed to a 10-year-old, "I don't look like it but I'm actually very timid and sensitive when I date someone. I'm the type that doesn't go up to girls I like so I don't have a girlfriend." He said that working out was what he was most confident in. The panel decided he was in love with working out. They also asked him about his ideal type. He said that he likes girls who are nice to his friends and family. He also likes housewife type girls and then picked Shin Bong Sun as his celebrity ideal type. I'm sure she'll appreciate this because she's made it quite clear on multiple shows, multiple times that she is in fact in love with Kim Jong Kook. Shin Bong Sun answered, "Are you confessing your love to me this way?" Kim Jong Kook was then laughed at, but he kept on complimenting Shin Bong Sun like a true gentleman.
