Lee Hyori and her husband Lee Sang Soon recently shared the unexpected story of their first blind date. On the March 15 episode of the SBS Special show 'Mongle Counseling Center', the couple listened to cast members talk about their own dating experiences. This heartwarming program features the famous couple acting as counselors for people with developmental disabilities as they navigate the world of blind dates and romance.
One guest named Oh Ji Hyun shared that she really liked her date, but the meeting ended after just 50 minutes because he was too nervous. She also felt sad that she forgot to ask for his phone number. Another guest with autism, Yoo Ji Hoon, kindly explained that it can be very hard to talk to new people at first, but it gets much easier with time.
To comfort the guests, Lee Hyori revealed that she and her husband actually did not like each other at all on their first blind date. They did not speak or meet for a whole year after that. However, they ran into each other by chance a year later and eventually fell in love. She encouraged everyone by saying that a bad first impression does not always mean the end of the story.
