IVE's Liz has gained attention for her Bubble messages.

On an online forum, netizens reacted to a series of messages Liz recently shared with her fans on Bubble. In these messages, Liz addresses the fact that some people criticize singers based on "a single video," emphasizing that mistakes are a natural part of being human.

Netizens were curious whether "something has happened recently" that sparked haters and prompted Liz to respond publicly through her words. According to fans on X, Liz apparently made a small vocal mistake while singing live on the first night of IVE's 2-day concert, performing a cover of Girls' Generation's "Genie."

Rather than backing down or shying away from criticism, Liz responded confidently:

"How was 'Genie'? Not bad! Of course, there are some parts I regret. But you make mistakes because you're a human being. It's a bad thing to criticize the efforts and skills you've built up so far with a single video~~ You just have to do well from now on."

In a series of follow-up messages, she added:

"I think the mindset of trying your best whether it turns out good or bad is what's important. You'll look pretty as long as you try your best. Right? So, I tried my best~~"

Following her response, netizens largely supported Liz, noting that "singing live and making mistakes is much better than lip-synching."

Many also highlighted that Liz is "already well-known for singing well as a vocalist," so minor mistakes like these shouldn’t impact her reputation. One netizen added that Liz sang the same part flawlessly during the second performance the next day.

However, some were surprised that fans paying to access Bubble would send hurtful messages that prompted Liz to respond directly on the app. A few netizens remained critical on the forum, commenting that "such comment or attitude is still unsuitable to come from a singer," suggesting that delivering a polished performance should be a given.

Reactions include:

"Liz is right."

"But really, that was the only mistake in her life."

"That’s a healthy way of thinking. Don’t say anything bad about Liz, idiotsㅡㅡ."

"Everyone knows she’s good~~~~~."

"She has a healthy and mature mindset."

"Does anyone not know Liz can sing well?"

"Since it’s live, small mistakes happen, that’s normal~."

"Exactly, people who are good at singing make small mistakes during live performances. If they didn’t perform live, there’d be no mistakes."

"Small mistakes happen because you’re singing live. You have to keep going regardless; I really don’t understand people who complain about that."

"When you do live, small mistakes happen. Avoiding live because of fear of mistakes is even more unfortunate."

"Small mistakes only happen if you do live lol. A slip once in a while is proof it’s live, so it’s fine."

"We also make mistakes at work. Of course mistakes happen. I actually like it more because it shows they’re performing live."

"Singers who are good at live and singing just laugh off minor mistakes lol. Does anyone not know Liz is good at singing and live performances?"

"It’s more impressive because it’s proof she’s doing live. Way better than just mouthing along with AR at a concert."

"She’s a pro, it wasn’t a huge mistake. A light apology is fine, but talking like that afterward is too confident."

"Did someone who’s not a fan get annoyed and say something to Liz? Best for her not to give any feedback in that case."

"Is that something a singer should say...?"

"I’m not a fan, but it popped up in the algorithm, so I watched. I just thought her voice wasn’t in the best condition. If she failed 100 times, it’d be criticism, but doing well 99 times and once slipping is just a mistake—she’s human."

"Exactly.. It’s not like she’s bad at singing. Since her debut, you can see her effort… lol. Doing live and slipping is cooler than just standing there mouthing the lyrics."

"Exactly, I like that she’s confident and doesn’t get intimidated by her haters."

"She did well today without mistakes. She keeps her word—she’s a woman of her word."
