G-Dragon has taken a firm stance against ongoing allegations surrounding him, escalating his legal response beyond malicious commenters to include media outlets.

According to reports, the artist has filed lawsuits not only against individuals spreading malicious comments but also against operators of certain online media platforms that raised allegations about him.

Previously, MHN Sports reported through legal sources that some online media operators were included among those being sued by G-Dragon’s side. With confirmation from his agency, it has now been verified that the scope of legal action has expanded beyond individuals to include media entities.

In a phone call with MHN, G-Dragon’s agency confirmed, “It is true that we have filed a lawsuit against the media operator.” However, they added that they could not disclose specific details regarding the targets or scope of the lawsuits.

The media outlet in question is known to have published multiple articles raising various allegations based on claims about G-Dragon’s visits to certain locations. It is reportedly a registered periodical publication and was previously involved in a dispute with HYBE and the Press Arbitration Commission in 2023 over coverage related to BTS.

G-Dragon had previously been cleared of all charges in a police investigation related to the allegations, effectively closing the case at the time. Following this, his agency filed lawsuits against around 100 individuals for spreading false information and defamation, continuing a strong legal stance.

This latest move is being interpreted as a clear signal that G-Dragon will no longer tolerate further allegations following his acquittal. Rather than simply issuing clarifications, the legal action now directly targets those responsible for producing and distributing such claims.

A legal expert commented, “This lawsuit can be seen as an effort to hold not only individuals but also content producers accountable.”

Industry observers suggest that the case could have broader implications for the entertainment media landscape, potentially raising awareness around irresponsible reporting and sparking further debate over media accountability.
