WJSN’s Dayoung is set to make her solo comeback this April.
On March 22, her agency Starship Entertainment surprised fans by posting a teaser image on Dayoung’s official social media, along with the phrase “COMING SOON. APRIL,” officially confirming her return.

The released image immediately caught attention with its bold pink toned mood. Only part of Dayoung’s appearance was revealed, sparking curiosity, while the phrase “What’s a girl to do” further heightened anticipation for the concept and music she will present.
This comeback marks her return approximately eight months after her solo debut digital single ‘gonna love me, right?’, released in September of last year. At the time, Dayoung actively participated in the overall album planning and production, as well as songwriting and composing, showcasing her sincerity as a solo artist.

In particular, the title track “body” highlighted her unique musical color and visuals, leaving a strong impression. The song achieved notable success, reaching No.9 on Melon’s TOP100 chart and No.17 on the monthly chart, and has since surpassed 10 million cumulative streams. Dayoung also earned a music show win with the track, proving both its popularity and public appeal.
The success of “body” extended globally as well. The track was included in “Best K pop of 2025” lists by NME, Billboard, and The Hollywood Reporter, while Teen Vogue named its music video as one of the best K pop music videos of 2025.
With her upcoming appearance at ‘Waterbomb’ on July 26, marking her first performance at the festival, expectations are rising for Dayoung’s continued growth as a rising festival performer.
As anticipation builds, fans are eager to see what new music and visuals Dayoung will bring with her upcoming April comeback.
