BLACKPINK's Jennie secures Platinum Certification in the U.S. for “Like Jennie”

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has once again proven her global music influence.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on March 20 updated its website with additional “Gold & Platinum” certifications.

RIAA awards certifications as follows: Gold (500,000 units), Platinum (1,000,000 units), Multi-Platinum (2,000,000 units), and Diamond (10,000,000 units).

Jennie earned Platinum certification for her solo debut album Ruby’s title track, “Like Jennie,” seven months after it was first certified Gold.

This marks her second Platinum achievement. She previously received her first Platinum certification for “One Of The Girls.”

Jennie also holds two Gold certifications. Last year, the pre-release track “ExtraL” and album track “Mantra” from Ruby were both certified Gold.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently performed in Hong Kong as part of their world tour, 'Deadline.'
