Singer Lee Young Ji has taken a firm stance against ticket scalping ahead of her upcoming solo concert, warning fans not to purchase overpriced resale tickets.
On February 10 and 11, Lee shared news of her Seoul stop for her world tour selling out through social media. While expressing gratitude to fans, she also addressed concerns about resold tickets. “I’m truly so thankful,” she wrote, adding, “There are probably quite a few people who bought tickets to resell them, so canceled tickets may be released after midnight. Please try again then. Don’t ever pay extra to buy them.”
When one fan asked whether purchasing a ticket for 300,000 won (~ USD 225) would be acceptable, Lee firmly drew the line. “Absolutely not,” she responded. “I put in every effort to lower ticket prices even by 10,000 won. Why would you pay extra? I want to have fun with people who genuinely want to enjoy the show together.”
She further demonstrated her determination by posting an image of a cartoon character wielding a sword, writing, “I’ll take down all the scalpers. You all stay put,” signaling zero tolerance for illegal ticket resales.
Meanwhile, Lee Young Ji is set to hold ‘2026 LEE YOUNGJI WORLD TOUR <2.0> IN SEOUL’ on March 7 and 8 at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. The Seoul concerts will mark the beginning of her world tour.
