NewJeans’ “Ditto” has officially surpassed 900 million streams on the global audio streaming platform Spotify.
According to Spotify on April 3, “Ditto,” a track from NewJeans’ single album 'OMG,' recorded a cumulative 900,116,845 streams as of April 1. It marks the group’s second song to exceed 900 million streams, following the album’s title track “OMG.”
Released on December 19, 2022, “Ditto” reinterprets the Baltimore club dance music genre through NewJeans’ signature emotional style. The track is characterized by its dreamy humming, warm sound, and the members’ soft vocals. At the time of its release, the song entered both the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and the UK Official Singles Top 100—an unprecedented achievement accomplished just six months after the group’s debut. In Korea, it topped Melon’s annual chart in 2023.

“Ditto” continues to enjoy steady popularity. In May of last year, it won “Best K-Pop Song in Japan” at the Music Awards Japan 2025. In October, it also became the first K-pop girl group song to receive “Triple Platinum” certification (over 300 million streams) in the streaming category from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Each winter, listeners revisit the song for its distinct sentimental mood, contributing to its long-term success.
To date, NewJeans has produced a total of 15 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify. “Ditto” and “OMG” have each surpassed 900 million streams, “Super Shy” has exceeded 800 million, “Hype Boy” has crossed 700 million, while “New Jeans” and “Attention” have each surpassed 500 million. “ETA” has exceeded 400 million, “Cookie” 300 million, and “Hurt,” “Cool With You,” “How Sweet,” and “Supernatural” have each surpassed 200 million streams. “ASAP,” “Get Up,” and “Bubble Gum” have each crossed the 100 million mark. Combined, all of NewJeans’ songs have accumulated over 7.4 billion streams on Spotify.
