Park Hyo Shin has found himself in an unexpected situation right as he makes his comeback.
According to Melon Ticket on April 3, more than 6,000 seats remain available for 'Park Hyo Shin LIVE A & E 2026,' which will be held over three days. Considering Park Hyo Shin’s strong ticket-selling power, the situation is highly unusual.
In fact, the originally prepared 90,000 seats sold out immediately when tickets opened in February. At the time, the number of concurrent users reached nearly 130,000. As it marks Park Hyo Shin’s first concert in about seven years, intense fan interest was only natural.
However, as of now, 1,695 seats are available for the first show on Saturday, April 4, while 3,144 and 1,406 seats have suddenly been released for the April 5 and April 11 performances, respectively. With a large number of tickets being released without prior notice, even highly sought-after sections are now relatively easy to secure.
Various speculations have emerged within the music industry and among fans regarding this situation. The most widely discussed theory is that ticket scalpers may have initiated mass refunds ahead of the concerts to minimize cancellation fees. According to Melon Ticket’s policy, buyers can receive refunds up to the day before the event with a 30 percent cancellation fee, while cancellations or changes are not allowed on the day of the performance.
It is common for a wave of canceled tickets to be released as concerts approach. However, unlike typical cases where only around 100 seats become available, the scale in this instance is several times larger, drawing significant attention.
Meanwhile, Park Hyo Shin will hold his solo concerts on April 4, April 5, and April 11 at 6:20 PM at the Incheon Munhak Main Stadium.
Ahead of the concerts, Park Hyo Shin released his new EP 'A & E' on April 3. The album includes a total of seven tracks: the title track “AE,” along with “Any Love,” “Stellar Night,” “Miracle,” “Cover My Wounds,” “Sogno Stellare,” and “Prayer.”
