
Actor Lee Byung Hun showed his support for football star Son Heung Min in Los Angeles. On February 22, he went to the 2026 Major League Soccer (MLS) opening game between LAFC and Inter Miami at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
This game caught the world's attention because it was the first time Korean football hero Son Heung Min faced off against legend Lionel Messi in the US. The stadium was packed with 75,673 fans, recording the second-largest crowd in MLS opening game history.
After cheering from the stands, Lee Byung Hun waited to meet Son Heung Min after the match. The two shared a warm greeting. Lee Byung Hun whispered a message of support to the football star, and they posed for photos with local reporters to celebrate the big win.
On the field, Son Heung Min's team, LAFC, won a massive 3-0 victory over Inter Miami. Son played a key role by assisting the first goal in the 38th minute.
