Singer Jang Yoon Jung revealed plans for a special trip with her father, showcasing their close father daughter bond.
On the 11th, a video titled “My voice won’t come out” was uploaded to her personal YouTube channel.
While sharing recent updates about family events, Jang Yoon Jung brought up a story about her father.
She said, “We recently held my father in law’s 80th birthday celebration, and after hearing about it, my dad told me he didn’t need a big 80th birthday party.” Instead, her father’s condition was that the two of them go on a three night four day domestic trip together.
Jang Yoon Jung laughed as she admitted, “I’ve never once gone on a trip alone with my dad.” She jokingly added, “To be honest, I feel like I might get tired of him. I think my energy would be drained in real time,” showing her trademark humor, but her affection for her father was evident in her tone.
Talking about his down to earth personality, she shared, “Older people usually say things like ‘It’s good, but a bit salty,’ even when food tastes great. But if it’s something I made, my dad always says it’s delicious.” She drew laughter by describing how he eats her homemade pad thai “like a Thai person, with his nose practically in the plate.”
Jang Yoon Jung continued, “It feels a bit strange to describe an elder this way, but he really eats with such enjoyment. He’s only 74, but he’s already writing down places he wants to travel to. It’s true.” Upon learning that her father had been personally planning the trip, she calmly said, “I told him to go ahead. He should do everything he wants to do.”
Through lighthearted jokes, she ultimately expressed her sincere desire to cherish more time with her father.
Meanwhile, Jang Yoon Jung married broadcaster Do Kyung Wan in 2013 and they have one son and one daughter.
