Rapper G-Dragon is taking strong legal action against malicious online commenters.
On February 24, his agency Galaxy Corporation shared an update regarding legal measures to protect the artist’s rights. The company stated it has filed large scale complaints against more than 100 individuals for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, in cooperation with law firm Yulchon.
According to the agency, investigative authorities conducted search and seizure operations on major online communities and social media platforms, identifying multiple suspects. The individuals have been transferred to their local police stations for questioning.
Some suspects have reportedly admitted to the charges and their cases have been forwarded to the prosecution, with final decisions pending. Investigations are ongoing for those who deny the allegations.
Galaxy Corporation emphasized that it will continue to pursue both civil and criminal action against malicious posts, including defamation, spreading false information, and personal attacks, to protect G Dragon’s rights.

Hello, this is Galaxy Corporation.
We are continuing strong legal action in cooperation with law firm Yulchon regarding malicious posts about our artist G Dragon, including defamation, spreading false information, malicious slander, and infringement of personal rights.
Following our previous notice, based on reports from fans and our own monitoring, we have filed large scale complaints against more than 100 malicious post writers on charges of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act.
Investigative authorities have identified multiple suspects through search and seizure of major online communities and social media platforms. The suspects have been transferred to their respective local police stations and investigations are underway.
Some suspects have admitted to the charges, and their cases have been forwarded to the prosecution. We are currently awaiting the results. Investigations are also actively ongoing for those who deny the allegations.
