The two-part series, titled 'Crown to the Throne', is a variety-style production inspired by the concept of 'Crown', the title track of the group's eighth studio album. The program documents the members' quest to determine who will ultimately occupy the singular throne of 'EXO PLANET'. The first episode will be available for viewing at 10:00 PM today on the official EXO YouTube channel. To prove their "royal qualities," the members will compete in five distinct games, including a mixed music quiz, a drawing relay, an initial consonant quiz, touch-based play, and a "sticky challenge."
The series promises a blend of fierce competitiveness and humorous chemistry as the members engage in the challenges with their own unique styles. The content highlights various "chaotic" moments, such as a member confidently declaring that age does not determine a king, others becoming flustered by sudden rule changes, and some meticulously focusing on minor details like leaving a pen cap open. EXO has consistently proven their entertainment prowess through recent guest appearances on popular platforms like 'Halmyungsoo', 'Amazing Saturday', and 'Channel Fullmoon'. This new content, along with the fifth season of their reality series 'EXO's Travel the World on a Ladder'—set to premiere on March 4—further solidifies their status as a versatile group that dominates both the stage and the variety scene.
EXO will also maintain their momentum with the launch of their sixth solo concert tour, 'EXO PLANET #6 - EXhOrizon', at the Seoul Olympic Park KSPO DOME from April 10 to April 12. Fans can purchase tickets via Melon Ticket, with the fan club pre-sale scheduled for February 12 and general reservations opening on February 13.
