BLACKPINK's long-awaited new mini album, 'Deadline', has sold a total of 1,461,785 copies on its first day of sales, according to YG Entertainment on February 28 KST.
Released a day earlier on February 27 at 2 PM KST (12 AM EST), the mini album hit record first day numbers not just for BLACKPINK as group, but for any K-Pop girl group in history. In addition, 'Deadline' reached #1 on iTunes album charts in a total of 32 countries upon its release, while the MV for the album's title track, "GO", swiftly became the #1 worldwide trending video on YouTube.
Marking BLACKPINK's full comeback as a group in approximately 3 years and 5 months, 'Deadline' features a total of 5 tracks, including the charismatic title track "GO".
