In the images, he is seen enduring biting winds during an outdoor shoot, pulling a long padded coat all the way up over his head.
Wearing thick earmuffs and knit gloves, So Ji Sub presses hot packs against his cheeks to keep warm. The photos are believed to have been taken on the set of upcoming drama 'Manager Kim'.
In the drama, So Ji Sub plays 'Kim Bu Jang', a seemingly ordinary employee at a small savings bank who secretly harbors a shocking past as a former North South covert agent. His bundled up appearance mirrors the character himself, who lives as an unassuming civilian while hiding his true identity.
'Manager Kim' is an action human drama that follows a father who risks everything in a desperate struggle to find his missing daughter. Through the series, So Ji Sub is expected to portray a wide emotional range, from the quiet life of a devoted father to intense, gritty action scenes, aiming to create yet another career defining character.
'Manager Kim' is set to air on later this year.
