Singer-actress IU and actor Lee Jong Suk, who have been publicly dating for four years, are drawing attention after being spotted in matching luxury outfits.
Recently, photos circulated on online communities showing IU and Lee Jong Suk wearing identical zip-up hoodies from luxury fashion brand Balenciaga, priced at approximately 3 million KRW (2,300 USD). Although the two were photographed in different locations, the fact that they wore the same design and color naturally sparked speculation that the outfits were a coordinated couple look.
IU’s photo was first revealed on January 5 through the social media account of actress Lee Yeon. In the image, IU is seen wearing a bucket hat paired with the zip-up hoodie, completing a relaxed and casual everyday look.
Lee Jong Suk’s appearance followed on January 8 via actress Ryu Hye Young’s YouTube channel. The video captured a team dinner for the tvN drama 'Seocho-dong', which concluded last year. Lee Jong Suk was shown wearing the same hoodie as IU, prompting fans to react enthusiastically to what they perceived as another subtle sign of their relationship.
IU and Lee Jong Suk officially confirmed their relationship in December 2022. At the time, Lee Jong Suk drew attention after delivering an acceptance speech filled with affection toward a special person while receiving the Grand Prize at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards, shortly before their dating news became public.
Since going public, the couple has maintained a low-profile relationship, keeping their private lives largely out of the spotlight. This has occasionally led to breakup rumors, but their recent sightings suggest their relationship remains as strong as ever, earning continued support from fans.
Meanwhile, IU is set to return to television in April with the MBC drama '21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife'. Lee Jong Suk is preparing for the release of the Disney+ original series 'The Remarried Empress'.
