Actor Ryu Si Won has revealed his wife to the public for the first time. The 53-year-old appeared with his wife, who is 19 years his junior, on the TV Chosun variety program ‘Joseon’s Lovebird,’ which aired on the 22nd.
The couple attended the wedding of comedian Yoon Jung Soo and broadcaster and Pilates instructor Won Jin Seo (also known as Won Ja Hyun) as guests. Ryu warmly congratulated Yoon, while his wife initially hesitated shyly before stepping forward to greet him after being called over.
This marked the first time Ryu Si Won’s wife has appeared on television. Her youthful appearance and actress-like visuals immediately drew attention. Watching the footage, panelist Hwang Bo Ra expressed surprise at her beauty.
Ryu Si Won jokingly remarked that he never expected Yoon Jung Soo to get married and added that he was genuinely happy for the couple, wishing them a lifetime of happiness.
Ryu Si Won was previously married in 2010 and has a daughter from that marriage. After a legal dispute, the couple divorced in 2015. He remarried in February 2020 to a Daechi-dong math instructor who is 19 years younger than him, and the couple welcomed their second daughter in December last year.
