Actress Nam Bo Ra has added another piece of joyful news to her recent pregnancy announcement, as she revealed she has received a Presidential Commendation in recognition of her long-standing volunteer work.
On December 22, Nam Bo Ra shared the news through a personal message, saying, “Hello. Before the year comes to an end, I’ve received an honor that feels more than I deserve. I was recognized for the volunteer work I’ve been doing and received a Presidential Commendation.”
She went on to explain that she was unable to attend the official award ceremony due to a prior schedule, adding, “They sent the award to my home instead, and seeing it in person brought back memories of all the volunteer work I’ve done over the years.”
Expressing her gratitude, Nam Bo Ra said, “I will continue to live with the same heart and give back to the world. Thank you.” The commendation comes just ten days after the actress announced her pregnancy. On December 11, Nam Bo Ra shared the happy news by saying, “A new life has come to me. I will soon become a mother.”
She revealed that her due date is set for mid-June next year and that she is currently 12 weeks pregnant. Sharing her thoughts, she said, “I hoped to become pregnant within this year, and I’m so grateful that it came at just the right time. I’ve been spending each day feeling incredibly happy. I’ll take good care of my baby and prepare well to welcome our new family member.”
Nam Bo Ra also personally shared her pregnancy news through the December 12th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant.’ With both personal and professional milestones arriving at once, Nam Bo Ra’s year is ending on a particularly meaningful note.
