G-Dragon has collaborated with global EDM star Alan Walker for a remix release.
On December 19, G-Dragon shared teaser artwork for “TOO BAD – Alan Walker Remix” on his social media accounts.
The star-shaped symbol featured in the artwork evokes the signature star sign used during G-Dragon’s 'Ubermensch' world tour, effectively linking the lingering impact of the tour with the upcoming remix album.
Alan Walker is one of the most prominent figures in the EDM genre. By blending his distinct musical color with G-Dragon’s, the two artists have created a fresh and powerful synergy.
An industry insider commented, “This goes beyond a simple remix. It represents a new expansion into the global music scene and will offer fans a unique and immersive sensory experience.”
G-Dragon is set to take the stage at the Melon Music Awards, which will be held on the 20th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. He is expected to unveil the performance of the track for the first time at the ceremony.
“TOO BAD – Alan Walker Remix” will be released on major music platforms on the 20th at 2 PM KST.
