The upcoming K-pop film ‘Underground Idol’, following in the footsteps of ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’, has unveiled its teaser poster and official stills ahead of its release on November 20.

The film takes a comedic look at the fierce survival stories of idols who aren’t at the top of the charts but fight to survive in the underground K-pop world. Mixing humor and satire, ‘Underground Idol’ explores the lesser-known struggles behind the glamour of idol culture, delivering laughter and empathy through its bold and unconventional storyline.

Real-life boy group BZ-BOYS, who debuted in 2019 under Chrome Entertainment, also appear in the film. Members Choi Won Ho, Lee Ha Min, Jung Seung Hyun, Jung Dong Hwan, and Choi Tae Woong play idol characters inspired by their own experiences — with Choi Tae Woong and Lee Ha Min previously appearing on ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ and ‘Produce X 101’.
By drawing from their real-life journey as idols, BZ-BOYS add authenticity to the film’s core message: “The real battle isn’t on stage — it’s behind it.”
