Singer Jeon So Mi has shared a 'tearful selfie' after misplacing luxury items worth tens of millions of KRW.
On March 28, Jeon So Mi posted several photos on her Instagram along with the message, “I lost my Chrome Hearts necklace and bracelet. I’m in tears.”
Later, she added with hope, “It’s probably in one of my bags. I don’t even want to look for it. I feel like it’ll just make me feel more empty.”
However, in the end, Jeon So Mi shared, “It’s not in any of my bags,” revealing that she ultimately could not find them.
In the released photos, Jeon So Mi is seen looking at the camera with tears welling up in her eyes. Her reddened eyes and moist gaze create a sorrowful atmosphere. The photos also reflect a nostalgic Y2K trend in Korea, where people take photos of themselves crying and share them on social media, often referred to as a 'tearful selfie.'
The accessories Jeon So Mi lost are products from the global luxury brand Chrome Hearts, known to range in price from several million to tens of millions of KRW.
Meanwhile, Jeon So Mi is scheduled to perform as part of I.O.I from May 29 to 31 in celebration of their 10th anniversary.
