Sunmi said she did not like Wonder Girls’ hit ‘Tell me’ on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’ aired Nov. 8, 2025 KST, where Sunmi, Lee Chan Won, and Song Min Jun appeared as guests during a quiz segment about Wonder Girls.
When the question asked which major Wonder Girls hit Sunmi had opposed to the point of tears, Seo Jang Hoon answered ‘Tell me’ and explained, "On quizzes like this, it's usually the biggest hit that someone says they disliked."
Sharing why she pushed back then, Sunmi said, "I was 16 at the time. The concept was an ’80s style," and "When we went to shoot the album jacket, at 16 you just want to look pretty, but they permed my hair." She added, "I was really shocked," and "the outfits were weird, so I really didn’t want to do it. Even the song had a retro electronic sound that felt strange to me."
Another question asked the group’s pre-debut name; the answer was Ladies Club. After Lee Sang Min got it right, Sunmi said, "I knew Sang Min would get this," adding, "I think I heard it somewhere—it was the name of a famous club in a busy district." Lee Soo Geun then teased Lee Sang Min about being a regular who "spent a few million won (a few thousand USD)," which flustered him. Lee Sang Min replied, "Why would you think I’d know that?" and Sunmi joked, "Sang Min seems like he’d know that culture."
The final question asked which instrument Sunmi played for Wonder Girls’ ‘I Feel You’; Lee Sang Min answered "bass guitar" and won the quiz.
