Lee Jin Wook drew attention with a noticeably different appearance, as seen in new photos shared from Los Angeles. The images were posted on Nov. 6, 2025 PST by singer Seia Lee, who uploaded shots from the ‘2025 LACMA Art+Film Gala’, including a picture taken with Lee Jin Wook in a tuxedo.

In the photo, Lee Jin Wook smiles at the camera alongside Seia Lee, standing out with a thick beard and a slightly fuller look. He had already appeared with light facial hair at the 30th Busan International Film Festival last month.
Lee Jin Wook has often been cited as a star who looks strikingly different “before and after payday.” On MBC’s ‘Section TV Entertainment News’, he once said, "I didn’t grow a beard on purpose; it just grows fast," adding that he had seen a comment reading, "If you’re going to use that face like that, give it to me," which he found amusing and flattering. PD Na Young Seok also revealed that Lee Jin Wook’s beard was a key reason for casting him in tvN’s ‘Three Meals a Day – Fishing Village Season 2’: "His bearded look was completely different from his drama image. I thought he was a professional who immerses himself in roles but doesn’t abandon his own style in daily life."

Lee Jin Wook continues steady work across film and television, including ‘Miss Granny’, ‘The Beauty Inside’, ‘I Need Romance 2012’, ‘Sweet Home’, ‘Bulgasal’, and ‘Squid Game’ seasons 2 and 3. He also plays Lee Ji Hoon in the forthcoming film ‘The 7 a.m. Breakfast Club for the Brokenhearted’.
