ILLIT is gaining momentum with their new release, as the music video has surpassed 10 million views.
On November 24th KST, ILLIT released their first single album ‘Not Cute Anymore’, along with the music video for the title track of the same name.
The video was unveiled through the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, and by 11 p.m. on the 25th—just two days after release—it had accumulated over 10 million views.
Showcasing each member’s individuality, ILLIT expresses the many versions of “me” hidden behind “cuteness” through chic suits, cool denim looks, and playful pajamas.
‘Not Cute Anymore’ captures the straightforward emotions of not wanting to be seen as just cute. The track entered the YouTube Trending Music Top Rankings in a total of 20 countries.
International media is also paying attention. Singaporean outlet Bandwagon praised the song for its “minimal production, conversational vocal delivery, and addictive hook.”
They added that “while ILLIT aims to break free from the label of cuteness, they still reveal a hint of it—and that contrast makes the transformation even more appealing.”
Meanwhile, ILLIT will perform ‘Not Cute Anymore’ for the first time on KBS-2TV’s Music Bank on November 28th.
