Actress Son Na Eun has officially joined the cast of one of next year’s most anticipated dramas, 'Manager Kim'.
According to a report on October 22 KST, Son Na Eun will star in SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama 'Manager Kim', which is scheduled to air in 2025. The series is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name.
“Manager Kim” tells the story of a middle-aged man, Manager Kim (played by So Ji Sub), who lives a quiet life as an ordinary office worker while hiding his past as a North Korean special agent. His world is turned upside down when his beloved daughter is kidnapped, setting off a gripping chain of events.
The drama will be directed by Lee Seung Young, known for “Wonderful World” (2024), “Tracer” (2022), and “Voice 2” (2018). The script is written by Nam Dae Joong, who makes his drama-writing debut after directing films such as “First Ride” (2025), “Love Reset” (2023), “Homme Fatale” (2019), and “The Last Wish” (2016).
Son Na-eun will play Sang-ah, a key character and an employee at Manager Kim’s company. With So Ji Sub, Chae Dae Hoon, and Yoon Kyung Ho already confirmed for the cast, Son’s addition heightens expectations for the drama. Viewers are eager to see what role she will play in the story and what kind of chemistry she will share with the rest of the cast.
Since debuting as a member of Apink in 2011, Son Na-eun has steadily built a solid acting portfolio. She starred in dramas such as:

She further solidified her place as an actress with “Agency” (2023), which recorded a peak viewership rating of 16.044%, and “Family X Melo” (2024), where she expanded her acting range by portraying a classic eldest daughter figure.
Earlier this year, she also made a strong impression in “Lady Ok’s Tale,” playing Lady Ok Tae Young, who gave a new life to the former servant-turned-heroine Gu Deok Yi (played by Lim Ji Yeon).
'Manager Kim' is set to air on SBS in 2025.
