Park Bo Gum's surprise appearance moved DJ Kim Tae Kyun to genuine tears. It wasn't just a simple surprise; it was a heartfelt moment where Park Bo Gum personally responded to the sincere fans' requests and radio listeners who had been waiting for him for three weeks.
On October 9, Park Bo Gum made an unannounced appearance on SBS PowerFM's '2 O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show,' instantly lighting up the studio. The broadcast became another reminder of Park Bo Gum's warm and thoughtful personality.
For the past three weeks, 'Cultwo Show' has been running a special project hoping for Park Bo Gum's guest appearance, mentioning his name on every broadcast and expressing their wish to have him on the show. Listeners joined in the campaign, sending messages of support for him to appear.

Red Velvet's Wendy, who was a guest in Part 1 of that day's show, also joined the effort, saying, "If Park Bo Gum is listening, I know you must be busy, but please come on 'Cultwo Show,' the no.1-rated program. And if you have time after, come up to the 11th floor around 8 PM and stop by 'Wendy's Young Street.' If you visit, I'll treat the entire staff to dinner."
As it turned out, Park Bo Gum had been following all of this. "Didn't you start mentioning me around September 22? You kept bringing me up," he said, signaling that he had known from the beginning. Despite his packed schedule, he had been aware of the "campaign" and was touched by the fans waiting for him.
Explaining his surprise appearance, he said, "I was wondering when I could come, and today happened to work out, so I came secretly as a surprise guest." Though he seemed to state his comment casually, it carried his warm, thoughtful nature.

Currently, Park Bo Gum is in one of the busiest periods of his career following his global hit 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' with back-to-back award shows, events, and interviews. Yet, he didn't ignore 'Cultwo Show's three-week-long wish to have him.
His phrase, "I was wondering when I could come," reflected that he didn't treat the invitation as optional, but saw it as a promise he wanted to keep, no matter how busy he was.
His fans and even the radio show hosts were touched by Park Bo Gum's warm gesture and surprise appearance. DJs Kim Tae Kyun and Kwak Beom, who had no idea he was coming, were shocked. Kim Tae Kyun exclaimed, “You should’ve told us!” and added emotionally, “I think I might cry.”
Kwak Beom was equally stunned, saying, “What kind of surprise is this? Oh my, I’m so shocked,” When Park Bo Gum greeted the listeners, Kwak Beom quipped, “This is so crazy,” while Kim Tae Kyun added, “They say if you truly wish for something, it comes true.”

Park Bo Gum revealed, “I came secretly as a surprise guest.” If he had told the producers in advance, they could have prepared something, but he intentionally came without notice — not for show, but out of considerate thoughtfulness. He wanted to make the long-awaited moment even more special and memorable for the DJs and listeners.
Park Bo Gum had always been known for his kindness. During the filming of 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' Park Bo Gum made headlines for his consistent acts of kindness. During the filming, a staff member had accidentally left an iPad visibly in a shot. Instead of pointing out the mistake, Park Bo Gum requested to film the scene again, saying, "I think my acting felt awkward," taking the blame himself. Then he removed the iPad and handed it to the staff member.
Even during his military service, fellow trainees testified that Park Bo Gum never used harsh language and always maintained a kind and exemplary demeanor.
His latest surprise appearance on the 'Cultwo Show' truly reflected Park Bo Gum's kind nature as he even remembered the exact date when the show began mentioning him and how long the fans had been waiting for him.
