Actress Jung Eun Chae has been confirmed to join the upcoming second season of SBS's 'Flex X Cop', set to air next year.
'Flex X Cop' follows Jin Yi Soo (played by Ahn Bo Hyun), the youngest son of the Han Soo Group, who unexpectedly becomes a detective and solves various cases. The first season, which aired early last year, gained widespread popularity for its comic-style direction and fast-paced storytelling.
Buoyed by strong viewer response, Season 2 is now in production, with Jung Eun Chae joining as Ahn Bo Hyun’s new partner.
Jung Eun Chae will take on the role of Joo Hye Ra, the new team leader of the violent crimes division. Her character replaces Lee Kang Hyun (played by Park Ji Hyun in Season 1), who leaves for training in Los Angeles.

Joo Hye Ra is described as an ace from the police counter-terrorism unit who volunteers to join the Violent Crimes Unit 1. Known for her sharp instincts and relentless drive, she also shares a special connection with Jin Yi Soo as his “devil instructor” from police academy days.
A meticulous and tenacious investigator, Joo Hye Ra is also noted for her unique charisma; she even rides a motorcycle during suspect pursuits. Many see the role as a perfect fit for Jung Eun Chae’s sophisticated yet powerful image.
Ahead of her appearance in 'Flex X Cop' Season 2, Jung Eun Chae continues to stay active across diverse projects.
She will make a special appearance as a factory supervisor in JTBC’s upcoming drama 'The Dream Life of Mr. Kim,' which premieres on October 25. Additionally, she is set to star alongside Lee Na Young and Lee Chung Ah in the mystery thriller 'Honor,' scheduled to air in the first half of next year.
