ILLIT members Yunah and Minju are making their official drama OST debut.
OST production company YAMYAM Entertainment announced on October 15th KST that Yunah and Minju will sing the theme song for the new KBS-2TV weekend mini-series 'The Last Summer'.
“A highly skilled girl group recognized by both fans and industry insiders is participating in this project,” said a representative. “They’ll deliver premium vocals that deepen the emotional tone of the story.”
The Last Summer is a romance drama that follows a boy and girl, childhood friends, as they come face-to-face with the hidden truth behind their first love. The series stars Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun.
Yunah and Minju are known for their contrasting but complementary vocal styles. Yunah brings a powerful tone and stable technique, making her presence felt on every stage. Minju, on the other hand, is praised for her pure yet strong vocal color.
A representative commented, “Yunah is an all-round chart-topper, and Minju is a trusted ‘vocal fairy’—expectations are high for this OST.”
Label BELIFT LAB added, “Through this OST, ILLIT is expanding their musical spectrum. Their performance will enhance immersion in the story and leave a lasting emotional impression.”
Meanwhile, The Last Summer is set to premiere on October 1st at 9:20 PM KST on KBS-2TV.
