Eun Ji Won of legendary K-pop group SECHSKIES has opened up about his remarriage story.
On October 13 KST, a new video titled “Lee Soo Geun and Eun Ji Won explode with chaos again!” was uploaded to Shin Dong Yup’s YouTube channel. The episode featured Eun Ji Won and Lee Soo Geun as guests, promoting their upcoming Netflix variety show 'Three Meals in Kenya', set to premiere in November.
Eun Ji Won recently made headlines for announcing his remarriage 13 years after his divorce. His fiancée is a stylist nine years his junior.
“I was very cautious,” Eun Ji Won said. “We decided to keep the ceremony small and private with only family. I’m the kind of person who gets awkward with compliments, so I prefer to keep things simple.”
Lee Soo Geun jokingly added, “He was quiet during Season 1 too,” to which Eun replied, “Well, that was because we were overseas. You just wait—your time will come too!”
Lee Soo Geun shared, “He didn’t tell anyone, but I had a feeling while we were filming in Kenya. He brought high-end cosmetics and kept offering them to me. I thought, ‘Does a stylist normally do all this?’ Turns out, the person closest to him became his partner.”
Eun Ji Won reflected, “I’ve never gone around actively trying to meet someone. That’s probably why it naturally happened with someone already close.”
When asked if he was thinking about having children, Eun replied, “Right now, I’m still alone in that regard, so I don’t have a ‘dream’ yet. But once I have kids, who knows? My goals might change.”
He continued, “If it happens naturally, I’ll welcome it. I’ve rarely seen people who try hard to have kids succeed right away. Some even give up on IVF and then end up conceiving naturally.”
Eun Ji Won is scheduled to hold a small wedding ceremony later this month.
