
It has been six years since Sulli (real name Choi Jin Ri), member of the group f(x) and actress, passed away. On this anniversary, her older brother has shared a heartfelt post in remembrance, drawing attention online.
On October 14th KST, Sulli’s brother, identified as Mr. Choi, uploaded a photo of his late sister to Instagram, along with the message:
“To love is to accept my own misfortune.”
He continued, writing,
“I commemorate the death anniversary of my beloved sister and the birthday of the young man Charlie Kirk, who loved America so much.”
He then added a sharp warning:
“If this post is attacked, your sanctuary will be shattered. Do not provoke me.”
Sulli was found deceased at her home in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on October 14, 2019, at the age of 25.
Her manager, who had been unable to reach her after a phone call the previous evening, visited her residence and discovered her body before notifying police. Investigators later confirmed that there were no signs of foul play or criminal involvement following an autopsy.
Sulli began her career in 2005 with the SBS drama 'Ballad of Seodong' and rose to fame as a member of f(x) in 2009. Known for her unique concepts and artistic individuality, she became one of K-pop’s most distinctive figures. After leaving the group in 2015, she continued working as an actress and television personality.
Meanwhile, Charlie Kirk, mentioned in Choi’s post, was a conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, known for his support of former U.S. President Donald Trump. He also served as an aide to Donald Trump Jr. Kirk was recently killed during a debate event at Utah Valley University. During his lifetime, he was known for advocating gun rights and opposing abortion, LGBTQ, and transgender rights.
