Singer Yoon Min Soo has shared a new glimpse into the life of his son, Yoon Hoo, who has grown noticeably since his childhood appearances on television.
The September 7th broadcast of SBS’s 'My Little Old Boy' featured Yoon Hoo, who is currently attending the University of North Carolina in the U.S., returning home to spend the holidays with his father.
During the episode, Yoon Min Soo was exercising in his room when he called for his son. Yoon Hoo appeared, surprising viewers with his tall height and muscular build. Yoon Min Soo asked him to check his push-up form, and Yoon Hoo demonstrated the correct technique before helping his father adjust his posture.
Curious about his son’s dedication to working out, Yoon Min Soo teased, “Why are you exercising so hard these days? You hurt your back before. Are you trying to find a girlfriend in America? In the movies, they’re always having pool parties.” Yoon Hoo admitted with a laugh, “A little bit,” before clarifying, “It’s mostly for my health.”
The conversation then turned to relationships. Yoon Min Soo asked, “Do you not have a girlfriend? Are you still ‘motae solo’ (single since birth)? I heard Junsu (actor Lee Jong Hyuk’s son, who once appeared on TV with him) even held hands in middle school.” Yoon Hoo corrected him, saying, “I told you, I’m not ‘motae solo.’ I asked someone out once, but I got rejected over DM.” He added, “That was in my first year of high school, so I started studying really hard after that.” Yoon Min Soo chuckled, realizing, “No wonder your grades were so good then. That’s how you got into a university in the U.S.!”
Meanwhile, Yoon Hoo recently opened a social media account, sharing photos from a family trip. The post drew public attention as it offered a rare look into his family life, with his parents known to be living together for practical reasons despite their divorce.
