The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) has announced it will host the ‘2025 Music & Entertainment Fair (MU:CON 2025)’ from September 10 to 13. Now in its 14th year, the event will take place across Seoul’s Itaewon and Hannam districts, reinforcing its role as a central hub for the Asian and global music markets.
Under the slogan ‘Music PRISM,’ the four-day event will feature a wide range of programs, including industry-focused conferences and business meetings, alongside a global music showcase open to the public.
The showcase, scheduled for September 12 and 13, will be held at prominent venues including Blue Square and Cave House. A total of 46 acts are scheduled to perform, featuring a diverse lineup of 33 domestic musicians, 9 guest artists, and 4 international acts. Notable Korean artists include Lee Seung Yoon, Zion.T, 10cm, Grizzly, and SUPERBEE. The event will also feature an 'Exchange Stage' with artists from Taiwan, Japan, and Denmark to promote international cultural exchange.
For global audiences, the showcase performances will be live-streamed on the official KOCCA MUSIC YouTube channel.
The industry conference, running from September 10 to 12 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, will host panels and keynote speeches from leading figures in the music world. Speakers include Ghazi Shami, CEO of EMPIRE Publishing, who recently partnered with G-Dragon, and Robin Jenssen, a hit songwriter for top K-pop acts such as aespa, NCT, and LE SSERAFIM. Music supervisors from acclaimed TV series like 'Pachinko' and 'Breaking Bad' are also slated to speak.
The event will also facilitate business opportunities through a new pitching program, partner matching sessions, and open networking events designed to create tangible business outcomes for participants.
