According to the real estate industry on September 13 KST, MC/comedian Yoo Jae Suk has taken out a loan of 7.7 billion KRW (~ $5.5 million USD) for the construction of a building on his 20 billion KRW (~ $14.4 million USD) property.
The property, located in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, boasts 573.7 square meters of buildable land and totals 1,653.55 square meters. Yoo Jae Suk purchased this land through two separate transactions in June of 2023, acquiring 298.5 square meters at 11.6 billion KRW (~ $8.3 million USD) and the other 275.2 square meters at 8.2 billion KRW (~ 5.9 million USD). Then, in November of the same year, Yoo Jae Suk obtained a building permit through his real estate business 'JS607'.
Construction on Yoo Jae Suk's new property began in May of last year. The building, made up of 4 above ground levels and 3 underground levels, will be completed in February of next year.
In fact, the property is located across the street from Yoo Jae Suk's current agency, Antenna. The area also houses several entertainment agencies, including Na Young Suk PD's Egg Is Coming headquarters. With construction currently under way, many are curious to know how the completed building will be used by Yoo Jae Suk.
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae Suk is also the owner of a Nonhyeon-dong penthouse worth 8.7 billion KRW (~ $6.2 million USD) and an apgu-jeong apartment worth approximately 7 billion KRW (~ $5 million USD).
