Rapper MC Mong has fired back after actress Lee Da In, wife of singer-actor Lee Seung Gi, publicly criticized him.

On September 4, MC Mong posted an edited version of a group photo on his social media, zooming in on Lee Da In’s face with the caption, “Mind your own business!” He continued, “Whether I post a photo from a year ago or one I simply liked, before you make me dislike you even more… Would I ever do something like abandoning family, like you did?”
The sharp remarks were seen as a direct rebuttal to Lee Da In’s earlier comments. A day prior, MC Mong had uploaded a black-and-white group picture featuring Lee Seung Gi, Lee Da In, her sister actress Lee Yu Bi, and Cha Ga Won, chairman of p_Arc Group and co-founder of One Hundred Label. Lee Da In reacted negatively, pointing out that the photo was taken more than a year ago.

On the morning of September 4, she wrote, “Why would you stir things up by posting a photo that’s over a year old?” She added, “I really can’t understand this,” and even shared what appeared to be the original color version of the picture, revealing that it was taken on July 18, 2024, at 11:17 p.m.
MC Mong, who celebrated his birthday the same day, interpreted her reaction as an unnecessary attack and swiftly issued his pointed response.
MC Mong and Lee Seung Gi share a long-standing friendship, dating back to their days as co-stars on KBS2’s variety show '2 Days & 1 Night.' MC Mong also co-founded One Hundred Label with Cha Ga Won and served as its executive producer until stepping down in June. Around the same time, he revealed plans to study abroad, citing severe depression, health issues, and the need to seek a way to continue music in the long term.
Meanwhile, Lee Da In married Lee Seung Gi in April 2023, and the couple welcomed a daughter in February 2024.
