A rapper/former co-ed group member ('A'), who was active in the Korean music industry in the 2000s, has become involved in an adultery lawsuit, according to an exclusive media outlet report on September 4 KST.
A day earlier, 'A's wife 'B' filed a 30 million KRW (~ $22,000 USD) lawsuit against 'C', the woman who committed adultery with 'A'. The lawsuit alleged that 'A' and 'C' had been in an adulterous relationship since April of last year, and that both are currently living in 'C's home.
'A' and 'B' are currently also involved in a divorce lawsuit, and the couple is known to have several children.
Additioanlly, the lawsuit alleged that 'A' and 'B' began living separately in April of last year as a result of domestic violence. 'A', who moved in with 'C', then slept with 'C' even when his children had come to stay with him. When his children discovered his adultery and told 'B', 'A' proceeded to beat the children, threatening, "Mom and dad are fighting because of you. If you tell on me again, I will abandon you." According to the lawsuit, 'A' beat his children "until they had bruises" and then neglected them in a parking lot.
A restraining order was placed on 'A' following the domestic abuse incident for a time, but it has since been lifted.
'B's lawyer stated, "'C' and 'A' were in an adulterous relationship since April of last year. In July of that year, the children caught 'A' sleeping with 'C'. 'B' repeatedly demanded that 'A' end his relationship with 'C', but he continued to commit adulterous acts. This has led to the destruction of their marriage and a divorce lawsuit."
The lawyer continued, "Both 'B' and the children were mentally harmed by these events. 'C' is responsible for compensating 'B' for the damages incurred."
