Actress Lee Young Ae revealed that her stunning beauty was evident from a very young age during her appearance on KBS 2TV’s 'Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend' on September 13.
The episode, titled 'Actress Lee Young Ae, Immortal Masterpieces,' marked her first KBS variety show appearance in 30 years.
MC Shin Dong Yup asked Lee Young Ae, “At what age did you realize you were exceptionally beautiful?” She modestly replied, “I think I realized it quite early, maybe around 6 or 7. Sometimes foreigners would even call me over on the street. I am not sure if it was because I was pretty.”
Lee Young Ae added that she had been modeling since childhood. “When I was in the third grade, I once modeled for a textbook company. Some parents who worked there came and asked to take my photo. I am not sure if it was because I was pretty,” she said, making the audience laugh. Alongside her stories, her childhood photos were revealed, showing her distinct features and exceptional charm from an early age.
When asked about her skincare routine, Lee Young Ae shared, “Moderation is important in everything, including food, exercise, and stress.” She also offered a personal tip: “When I wash my face, I wipe from the bottom up to lift the skin.”
