On September 12, a video titled 'A True Hanyang Food Tour with Jang Dong-yoon' was uploaded on the YouTube channel Ahn So Hee .
Jang Dong Yoon and Ahn So Hee are both signed under BH Entertainment and were born in 1992, making them the same age. In the video, Jang introduced himself by saying, "I am actor Jang Dong Yoon, the same age as So Hee, and we work at the same company. Hanyang University feels like a second home to me, so it is great to be here."
He added, "I was born and raised in Daegu, so I am pretty resilient to the heat because I was born in July." He jokingly addressed the June-born Ahn So Hee, saying, "Then I will call you ‘sister,’ which means older sister."
When asked, "You are still attending Hanyang University, right? What year are you in?" Jang Dong Yoon admitted, "Unfortunately, I have not graduated yet. I am still in my fourth year. Technically, I have been a senior for 10 years. It is like a drama title: ‘10th-Year Senior.’"
Ahn So Hee responded, "I live nearby but have never really been to Hanyang University." Jang confidently said, "This place is basically my living room. If you follow me, I can show you everything. I know this place inside out. Back in Wangsimni, I was the top guy here. Today, we will do a high-speed eating tour, so prepare yourselves."
Jang Dong Yoon, an alumnus of Hanyang University’s Department of Economics and Finance, was well-known for his academic excellence in Daegu during his high school years. In 2015, while still a student, he made headlines on SBS News after bravely stopping a robbery at a convenience store. He was nicknamed “the handsome student who caught a robber” online. Following this, he received numerous offers from entertainment agencies and eventually debuted as an actor after losing 7 kilograms.
