NewJeans members Minji and Danielle personally appeared for a private court mediation session with ADOR on August 14 KST.
The mediation session is scheduled to take place on this day at the Seoul Central District Court, overseen by the 41st civil division. The two sides will attempt to come to an agreement regarding the validity of the exclusive contract between the NewJeans members and ADOR.
It's said that the court specifically requested for the members to attend in-person, resulting in the personal attendance of 2 representatives.
So far, NewJeans continue to maintain that the relationship of trust between ADOR and the members remains severed, while ADOR continues to insist that the exclusive contract remains valid.
If the two sides fail to reach an agreement on this day, the court will deliver its ruling on the exclusive contract validity lawsuit on October 30 KST.
